A project for the fastest growing company in the Netherlands - Picnic, the online grocery store. Together with the managing team at FC3 we looked at a scalable solution for an information wall - a physical display where internal information can be presented and interacted with using a grid-like template to display information on.
Overview Picnic's operations is estimated at 4000+ employees and counting. There is growing demand for the display of information within it's FC's. Picnic's internal messaging is using Slack, using different channels per operations including automated messages, news and more practical applications. On-Floor communication however is a "disaster", with much DIY(hacked) information templates that offer no clear overview and no clear internal brand strategy to it's employees.
Design WALL-E offers an unique modular content-grid that is designed for these problems in mind. It's grid-like pattern is designed for fool-proof interaction and layouting. Making use of the ratio sizes of universal paper. WALL-E can be covered using large prints that can be changed and function for different events. It's modularity can be expended using office magnets allow users to experiment with creative content options.
Sustainable
WALL-E is manufactured in a smart and sustainable way using only wood CNC techniques to lay-in steelwire and a large recyclable print.
